This project started with Sage challenging Oakley’s design team to create a corduroy-like texture for his Signature Series goggle strap while combining it with vintage racing stripes for aesthetics. Not an easy task, right? As expected, the team succeeded, and the execution resulted in no ordinary Line Miner. It can be easily merchandised with any of his Team Collection apparel that’s meant to stand out on slopes, in the backcountry, or at the après.
Housed in a custom microbag with racing speed stripes, Sage’s autograph and details tie back to his Team Collection jacket. These goggles come equipped with Prizm™ Sage Gold Iridium lens that comes handy in various light conditions.
The Line Miner goggle was created with the purpose of providing the ultimate in peripheral vision, with a cylindrical-style design. We were able to pull the goggle in closer to your face than ever before, allowing for incredible downward and side-to-side periphery. With a large-sized fit, Line Miner is optimised for a wide variety of faces and is engineered to fit perfectly with most helmets.
