Rather than simply updating a retro template, Matt “Mayhem” Biolos has created a completely new species of fish: faster, looser, more responsive, and capable of true modern performance surfing in a huge range of conditions.

The Shape

The Pisces takes the DNA of the RNF 96 and evolves it with a host of modern refinements:

• More pulled-in nose with increased nose rocker for better control in steeper pockets

• Flatter rocker between the feet for glide, speed, and instant planing

• Deeper single concave through the mid-section, transitioning into increased curve under the rear foot

• Mellow wing aligned with the front fins to tighten turning radius

• Additional vee in the swallow tips for improved release and smooth rail-to-rail transitions

• Scooped-out tail deckline mirroring the bottom contours for pocket control and sensitivity

The result is a souped-up fish that is tighter, quicker, and more precise — without losing any of the drive or effortless speed that defines a fish.
