Assistant Store Manager - Braunton

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to support the Braunton Store Manager.
We have an exciting opportunity as an Assistant Store Manager at our Tiki Surf store in Braunton, North Devon. As an Assistant Manager your involvement will be essential in supporting the Store Manager and contributing to the stores success.

Job Description:
As an Assistant Store Manager you will be supporting and assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the store operations. The main focus of the role is on helping to improve the commercial performance of the store through effective management and leadership of the team.

Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager

Assist the Store Manager in managing and motivating the team to maximise sales and customer satisfaction

Support the Store Manager in managing the day to day operations of the store including locking up and key responsibilities plus alarm call out response

Driving and upholding the highest customer service through team engagement and use of product expertise to build a strong and loyal customer base

Build and maintain connections within the local community with those that share our vision

Assist the Store Manager in leading and inspiring the team to achieve store sales and KPI’s to drive commercial performance and improve profitability of the store leading by example

Support the Store Manager in creating team rota’s, conducting recruitment, inductions and conduct effective training and development of the team

Visual merchandising, product and brand launches in line with company direction

Assist the Store Manager in organising, planning and implementing our vision and purpose through our teams

Support the Store Manager in managing stock inventory, completing deliveries and general maintenance of stock. Some knowledge or experience of Shopify or similar platform preferred.

Delegating and monitoring team workload, train and supervise to get the best possible results

Support the Store Manager with Health & Safety operations

An interest/ knowledge in the Surf sector is essential
Ideally we’d like all candidates to have retail managerial experience, demonstrate a commercial understanding with the ability to lead and motivate a team in order to deliver outstanding customer service. Interest and knowledge in the Surf Sector is essential.
Most importantly a passion for our products, brands and lifestyle is a must.
