Highlighting some of the standout moments for the Tiki Team Riders in 2023 and what's to come in the new year.

As we enter 2024, we discussed some 2023 highlights with our Tiki Team Riders and looked ahead to what they’re looking forward to most in the New Year!

From competitions & personal milestones to cherished moments with their special people, here's a glimpse into what they had to say:

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

2023 surfing highlight for me was Lukas Skinner achieving 2nd in the world at the ISA world championships in Brazil. Not just the final but all event, posting highest heat scores and totals and just raising the bar not just for English surfing but for every junior surfer in the world.

2024 GOALS

This year the aim is to continue building and training and putting England well and truly on the map as a top surfing nation.

I love making edits of surfing and the aim is to put all the footage I end up with to good use and get lots of surf edits out there on YouTube. I hope they will be entertaining and fun to watch.

There will be a world games again some time in May so preparations are soon to be underway for that.

The junior European championships this summer.

It’s going to be a big and great competitive year for our English Junior surfers.

Potential strike missions around the country with the junior surfers! Keep an eye out for the Tiki van!

Looking forward to getting some time in the water too, praying for some good winter waves to arrive and looking forward to staying extra toasty in the 5:4:3 Tiki Zepha 2

Greg Norman

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

Getting in the water a lot and making the most of where I live.

Watching my eldest child Sonny progress so well with his surfing.

Welcoming my beautiful daughter Indie into the world in October.

Competing in some top events from BLU, Smooth Movers, Hotdoggers and Jesus surf classic, making a few finals along the way.

Sharing some great surfs with my mates and local crew, including the always supportive legend Aym aka King of the Kooks Media.

2024 GOALS

More of the same as 2023, with plenty of family time on the beach and improving my middle son, Finley’s water confidence.

Keep fit and get in the water whenever I can.

Plenty more surfs with Sonny.

Aim to enter more comps.

Hopefully an overseas surf trip, it’s been too long!

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

2023 has been a year of fun waves!

Frosty ones in January, long 30 second secret spots in March, awesome Welsh family ones in April and lovely sunset ones in June.

A bit of a flat spell meant lots of dips with friends in the middle and then a summer of longboarding fun with our little boy.

September took us to Pantin in Spain to the Europeans for epic waves with our waveski family from all around.

The finisher of the competition year was on a high at the British Open where I won the ladies HP division and reached the Open of the waveski round with my husband who placed 1st and me and my waveski sister Emma finshed 3rd and 4th!

2024 GOALS

Next year brings another big one with the Waveski World Championships in South Africa in June, so its back to training and burning off the Christmas pudding!

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

Best highlight for me from 2023 was the endless solo log sessions at the local Porthmeor, surfing the most enjoyable waves with no one else around.

Another standout experience the BLU surf competitions, where I had the pleasure of hanging out with the BLU crew and catching waves together.

2024 GOALS

Anticipating the upcoming year, I'm super excited for travel adventures and the prospect of riding epic waves, whether in warm or chilly waters.

So that's a wrap for 2023. We'll keep you in the loop regarding their progress and achievements throughout the upcoming year.
