Description
Putsborough is a Hamlet on the west facing coast of North Devon. It is approximately 1 km north of Croyde. North of this hamlet is Putsbourgh Sands. The name Putsborough Sands is given to the southern part of Woolacombe beach.
Putsborough is one of the only beaches in the area that benefits from some protection from the south-westerly winds because of the surrounding headline. It has fairly slow waves, which makes it suitable for beginners.
The inspiration behind this bead was to not only capture the beautiful colours found on this beach but to add depth to the bead by layering the design and encasing with both teal and dark aqua glass. The left of the beach is protected by the high reaching cliffs of Baggy point with a collection of reefy rocks in front of the break. Nalu have decorated the bead with black lines representing the reef and rock slabs with little white dots which are the seagulls nesting on the cliffs
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
