Fun weekend at the 1st stop of the BLU (British Tour) at Rest Bay, Porthcawl, Wales. Great to have a really strong turnout, to see loads of mates and compete against some of the best longboarders around. Happy to progress through a few heats and end up with a 9th place finish in the Open and a 9th in the Single Fin. Got the scores to progress to the Semi final in the Single Fin, but my contest rustiness/naivety made me make a silly decision and earn an interference call. That cost me my place in the Semi. We live and learn!
