Construction: South Point Epoxy Surfboards
The most significant advancement in this year’s construction is the addition of the Omega stringer. The Omega stringer is a longitudinal composite structure comprised of a high-density PVC foam beam integrated into the core and encased in epoxy fiberglass. Omega stringers are bonded to both the core and outer skins of the board creating better stiffness and strength. A dynamic technology, Omega stringers vary in size and quantity based on the specific needs of each sized board
